 Afghan police force faces uphill task 
 

The fight to curb the Taliban in Afghanistan is not easy. In Wardak, for example, there are just 460 policemen for a province with a population of nearly one million. And they are expected to assist in military operations while patrolling mountain passes and city streets.

As Al Jazeera’s Nick Clark reports, they just do not have the weapons to match their enemy.
