Dozens killed in India bus crash

“The bus broke up into two because of the impact of the fall … Two of the seriously injured succumbed to their injuries in hospital,” he told the private NDTV news channel.

 

The bus driver has been detained by police for rash and negligent driving, reports said.

 

Road traffic accidents are common in India because of bad roads, overloaded and ill-maintained vehicles and careless driving.
