The burial is taking place now that the Taliban has freed all South Korean hostages.

    The second, Shim Sung-min, 29, was killed on July 31.

    The two deaths came as negotiations stalled over a demand by the Taliban that eight of its fighters be freed.

    The Taliban had released two hostages in August as a goodwill gesture after beginning direct talks with the South Korean government.

    All 19 others were freed last month and returned home on September 2.
