Chinese farmers protest over land grab
Villagers of Zhejiang province accuse officials of taking their land and not paying compensation.

Farmers in the Chinese province of Zhejiang staged demonstrations during the weekend against the recent seizure of their land.

They say local officials of the ruling Communist party were behind the land grab and failed to fulfil promises of compensation.

Melissa Chan reports from Yingdiangjie, Zhejiang, where villagers also accuse authorities of trying to violently crush their protests.
