Philippines set for polls

Presidential, congressional and local elections to get under way in few hours time.

    In a few hours time, Filipinos will head to polling stations to cast their ballots in presidential, congressional and local elections.

    More than 40 million people are registered to vote.

    This will be the country's first automated elections, campaigning for which have been dominated by colour and controversy.
