Pope Francis will break a papal record on Sunday when he officially declares 800 new saints.

The process, called canonisation, is the final step towards sainthood.

Among those being canonised will be Mother Laura Montoya, set to become Colombia's first ever saint.

Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from the city of Medellin in Colombia.
