Spacecrafts to deliberately crash into moon

NASA's planned crash will end a $375m mission to map the moon's gravitational field.

Two NASA spacecrafts are to crash into the moon at full speed today, on purpose.

The twin GRAIL space laboratories has been mapping the moon's gravitational fields in tandem since January.

NASA took the decision to hasten the spacecraft's end stating it is a case of a mission very-much accomplished.
