Romney goes abroad to gear up for Tampa

Republican candidate will visit the UK, Israel and Poland ahead of party's national convention next month.

    Mitt Romney begins a six-day overseas trip this week, a journey his campaign team hopes will help him gain stature in the eyes of the United States public.

    Romney will formally accept the Republican nomination for the US presidency at the party's national convention in Tampa next month.
