Dennis Kucinich, a Democrat famous for his anti-war position, has lost his re-election bid.

The eight-term congressman and two-time presidential candidate, was voted out office in a special election brought on by a newly drawn US congressional voting map that pitted Kucinich against a fellow Democrat.
