Former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega has been extradited from the US to Francce, where he is expected to answer to fresh money laundering charges.

His extradition is just the latest chapter in the legal troubles for the former CIA informant.

He has already spent two decades in a US prison on drug trafficking and other charges.

Al Jazeera's Paul Werdel reports.
