Soldier says life will be harder for Muslims after killings at US army base.

Thousands of people have gathered in the US state of Texas to honour those killed in last week's shooting spree at the Fort Hood army base.
 
The alleged gunman, Major Nidal Hassan, is a Muslim and accused of killing 13 men and women at the Fort Hood Army Base.

Of the nearly 1.5 million soldiers in the US army, at least 3,000 are Muslims.
