Peruvian city's sewage pollutes the ocean  
 

Lima, a city of nine million inhabitants, is without a single sewage-treatment plant. Two recently announced plants will not be ready for another five years. Many believe Peru is the single biggest polluter of the Pacific Ocean in the Americas.

Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports on the unchecked marine pollution that makes Lima's beaches unsafe - and the apathy to the problem.
