Dejected McCain supporters wary of Obama  
 

Barack Obama's election victory was greeted by celebrations across the US, as well as in many countries around the world.

However, about 56 million Americans voted for John McCain, and many of them live in rural communities in the country's heartland.

Al Jazeera's Barnaby Phillips reports on how those who backed McCain are coming to terms with the outcome of Tuesday's historic election.
