The US economic slowdown and weak dollar is encouraging a spending spree not by Americans but by foreign investors - and they're chasing landmarks.
Reports suggest the Abu Dhabi investment authority is currently hammering out a deal to purchase the iconic Chrysler building in New York.
But many New Yorkers are concerned if the city's buildings change hands, it will have a permanent impact on the famous Manhattan skyline.
