The demand and interest in modern art from Africa is on the rise. Works by west African artists have particularly seen an increase in sales.

This year, high profile galleries like London's Tate Modern have featured exhibitions by Nigerian artists.

Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege reports from Abuja, Nigeria's capital, where she spoke to one artist who is helping drive this new trend.
