Hundreds of delegates from about 200 countries have arrived to Durban to participate in the United Nations climate summit, one of the biggest diplomatic events ever hosted by South Africa.

African countries, the worst hit by the effects of climate change, are preparing to confront the world's biggest polluters at the conference.
