The International Criminal Court has authorised an investigation into the post-election violence that rocked Kenya after a disputed 2007 poll.

More than one thousand people were killed in political and tribal clashes, that brought the country to the brink of civil war.

Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from one of the flashpoints in the violence - the Kibera slum in Nairobi.
