UN 'succeeding' in DRC despite troop deficit  
 

The head of the UN mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo has admitted it could be three months before an extra 3,000 UN peace-keeping troops arrive. The additional soldiers were approved last November to bolster the 17,000-strong force already on the ground.

But despite the delay, Alan Doss says his forces are making progress in subduing rebel groups. Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports
