Sporadic fighting puts
DR Congo truce at risk

A fragile ceasefire in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo is under threat from fighting in some areas.

There have been outbreaks of violence between government troops and rebel fighters around the towns of Rutshuru and Kiwangja.

A relative calm prevails in the region's main city of Goma, from where Al Jazeera's Mohammed Adow filed this report.
