North Korea’s military parades before Pyeongchang 2018

A slightly subdued military parade was held in North Korea right before the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

North Korea’s leader says his armed forces are ready to fight if the US and its allies threaten its sovereignty.

The warning from Kim Jong-un at a military parade in Pyongyang came on the eve of an expected display of unity at the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

But the parade was not broadcast live on TV as usual and international journalists were not invited.
