New road for track king: Farah aims for Olympic marathon gold

Mohamed Farah, the UK’s most successful distance-runner, is switching from track races to road races, intent on tackling and winning the Olympic marathon.

One of the world’s most well-known athletes will start a new chapter in his career on Friday.

Mohamed (formerly “Mo”) Farah is in Qatar to run the Doha half-marathon – a first step towards his new goal of Olympic marathon gold.
