Homelessness hits record high in the UK

In one of the wealthiest countries in the world more and more people are now living on the streets.

The number of homeless people in Britain has reached record levels.

A new government report estimates that 4,500 people are sleeping rough.

The government says it’s committed to halving that number in four years and eliminating it in a decade.
