Syria's UN mediator Staffan de Mistura has held separate meetings with government and opposition delegations in Geneva.

    Syria's UN mediator Staffan de Mistura has held separate meetings with government and opposition delegations in Geneva.

    It is the eighth round of UN sponsored talks to end the civil war.

    The opposition is still demanding the departure of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
