After 13 years, the UN Stabilization Mission (known by the French acronym MINUSTAH) is pulling out of Haiti.

It says its work is nearly done - after helping put the country back on the road to recovery.

The peacekeepers have been credited with bringing some stability to Haiti.

But, their legacy also includes disease, violence and sexual exploitation.
