Japan court upholds withholding subsidy from pro-Pyongyang school

Tension over North Korea’s nuclear programme has led to a dispute over education in Japan. North Korean students there attend schools that receive support from Pyongyang.

They have lost a lawsuit against the Japanese government’s decision to withhold school subsidies.
