Early voting in swing state of Ohio

Al Jazeera speaks to early voters waiting to cast ballots in heavily Democratic Cuyahoga County.

Early voting continued in Ohio’s Cuyahoga County, the voting bloc many say is the most crucial in the battleground state.

Al Jazeera went to the county’s Board of Elections office, where residents has lined up starting at 10:00am, three hours before voting was set to start.

Although the temperature was a frigid 4 degrees Celsius, the atmosphere was festive, with volunteers for President Barack Obama handing out coffee, hotdogs and hamburgers to voters.

Despite reports of issues elsewhere, things seemed to be operating smoothly at this polling station, with the long lines moving at a steady pace on Sunday.
