Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan this week agreed to share the water of the Nile. But why the discord in the first place?

Correction, 25/3/2015: An earlier version of this graphic said that the White Nile was Ethiopia's tributary of the Nile. That is incorrect. It is the Blue Nile. The White Nile originates in Uganda.
