Heavy rains cause flash floods in Yemen

Unusually heavy rains triggered flash floods over the weekend in Yemen, killing at least eight people in capital.

Flash floods caused by unusually heavy rain killed at least eight people on Sunday in the suburbs of Sanaa and several other areas of Yemen.

The floods have caused serious damage, sweeping away cars and crops and inundating roads.
