A heatwave continues to grip the eastern United States after violent storms disabled power across the country, from Minnesota to Tennessee.
With upwards of 18 people now dead as a result, the country prepares to repair the electricity grid in the affected areas. But still others have managed to find a lighter side to escape the summer heat.
