As the Barcelona coach steps down to recharge his batteries, several clubs look likely to show an interest.
Pep Guardiola has announced he will leave Barcelona at the end of the season, indicating he wants to recharge his batteries. "...The reason is simple. Four years, that gets everyone tired. The new coach will give things that I can(***)t give anymore." [EPA]

Barcelona were knocked out of the European Champions League as holders by Chelsea in the semi-finals while bitter rivals Real Madrid are likely to steal their Primera Division title this season [GETTY]
Guardiola is expected to take a sabbatical after quitting the Catalan giants, but who are the teams that might show an interest? [GETTY]
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is a long-time admirer of Guardiola. The 2010 European Champions have fallen on tough times in recent years and Moratti could potentially leave interim manager Andrea Stramaccioni in charge until Guardiola returns to football. Guardiola is no stranger to Italy having played at Brescia [GETTY]
Not short of cash, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has made his way through a number of coaches in the last couple of years. Caretaker manager Roberto Di Matteo has given the London side a new lease of life, including knocking Barcelona out of Europe, but reports say Abramovich may have someone else lined up [GETTY]
Another English side potentially in the market are Manchester City. Should manager Roberto Mancini fail in his quest for a Premier League title, City’s UAE owners may seek out Guardiola about taking over [GETTY]
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi would relish the chance to sign a big name like Guardiola. Massimiliano Allegri did well to win Serie A with Milan last term but they look like being beaten to the title by Juventus this season and a bigger name would go down well among some supporters [GETTY]
There is no sign of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson retiring, but Old Trafford administrators will be keeping a watchful eye on Guardiola, who could be signed up before enjoying a few years out of the game and then returning on Ferguson(***)s retirement. There might be competition from Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho who many believe to be interested in the job [GETTY]
Perhaps Guardiola may turn to a spot of national side management. England are looking for a manager for Euro 2012 and favourite Harry Redknapp is suffering a dip in form with Tottenham Hotspur. If Vicente Del Bosque leads Spain to a successful defence of their Euro title to go with their World Cup triumph, he could decide to leave, opening the door for Guardiola [GETTY]
Or perhaps Qatar beckons. Guardiola had a spell as a player with Al Ahli in Doha so has contacts in the Gulf state and could be richly rewarded leading either a club side or the national side ahead of their hosting of the 2022 World Cup [GETTY]
