Bolivia's Morales criticised over road in biodiverse region

President travels to environmentally sensitive region to promote road-building project that he says will boost the economy.

San Pablo de Isibor, Bolivia - Bolivia President Evo Morales has travelled to an environmentally sensitive region to promote a road building project, which he says will boost the economy.

Many welcomed Morales to the Tipnis National Park, which is known for its diverse ecosystem and isolated native culture.

However, critics say Bolivia's first indigenous president is betraying his own people.
