Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Saudi Arabia, a key player involved in the regional blockade against Qatar, will have to play the biggest role in solving the Gulf diplomatic crisis.

Erdogan has held talks with Saudi King Salman as part of two days of shuttle diplomacy. He is now in Kuwait and will head to Qatar on Monday.

A number of Arab countries cut diplomatic ties with Qatar and imposed a blockade seven weeks ago.
