Kenya court orders reopening of TV stations

Kenya's courts have ordered the government to reopen TV stations it had shut down to prevent coverage of a public event by opposition leader, Raila Odinga.

Kenya's High Court has ordered the government to reopen several TV stations that it shut down on Tuesday.

The country's top three TV networks were taken off the air after they tried to broadcast a mock inauguration ceremony held by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The move provoked an outcry from journalists and human rights groups.
