Biography: Shahnaz Pakravan

    Shahnaz Pakravan
    Shahnaz Pakravan is a well known figure in Middle Eastern and British media through her work with the BBC and ITN, including Arab World Direct and Tomorrow's World.
     
    Shahnaz is a former newsreader on BBC World and presented Channel Four's daily breakfast news programme Channel Four Daily. Most recently she has presented at Dubai Television.
     
    She contributed to the critically acclaimed Channel Four Health programme Health Alert and presented Arab World Direct for BBC World.
     
    Shahnaz first joined the BBC in 1987 presenting the regional current affairs programme Insight, before moving to the Asian magazine show Network East.
